Measure Your Art

Begin by measuring the height and width of your art in inches and, if you can, take a picture of it. You’ll be able to upload that photo in the Frame Builder tool for a live preview of what your piece will look like in your ideal frame.

*Note: Some pieces, like fine art prints, may come with their own mat. If yours does, make sure to measure your artwork with the mat so you end up with an appropriately sized frame. If you don’t have a mat but would like one, you can choose from different sizes and 30 different mat colors in the Frame Builder.

Build Your Frame

Start building your dream frame for your art with our easy-to-use Frame Builder tool. It will take you step by step through entering the dimensions of your art, uploading a sneak peek photo, and choosing a frame, mat(s), and acrylic covering.

You can quickly peruse and preview how your piece looks with different frame and mat styles, colors, and sizes. Plus, you’ll be able to clearly see the price of your perfect frame as you customize it. Experiment, explore, and have fun!

What Happens Next?

After your online custom frame order comes in, our team gets to work building your frame from the highest quality materials including wood moldings, conservation mat boards, acid-free foam core backing, and museum quality acrylic with UV protection.

When your frame arrives, you’ll find with it all the finishing materials and hardware you need: archival hinging tape, d-rings, hanging wire, and picture hooks. All you have to do is place your artwork inside the frame and you can have it hung up in minutes!

Or if you have ordered a frame with the print included, your frame will arrive ready to hang.
