High-quality Custom Frames and Mats
While the practice of framing art has been around for centuries, framing as we know it arrived in the late 19th century much in part to the invention of cardboard that allowed for modern style mat boards. These days, we use high-quality conservation mat boards in our superior wood frames along with museum-quality acrylic and acid-free foam core backing that helps preserve and protect the pieces in a frame.
Our Standard Materials
Better-than-glass acrylic is lightweight and offers beautiful clarity and critical UV protection.
No risk of acid mat burn or long-term damage to your artwork.
Archival quality means no corroding acids like in regular foam core.
Frames are made from real wood with d-rings attached and hanging hardware included.
